Our association is named after Sensei YASUYUKI FUJINAGA, who was a master of traditional japanese karate with great experience. Under his guidance, the development of SHOTOKAN style has begun in 1984 in Hungary. The head of the association  is Sensei Tibor Szűcs (6th Dan).

The Shotokan style is a traditional martial art, the most importants purpose of this branch is not the achievement of victory over your opponent, but improving and perfecting ones own character via uniting the body and mind.

If practice is continued with tenacity and patience, practitioners develope such important qualities as Honor, Reverence, Discipline, Willpower, Patience and High Resolve as well as high levels of physical preparedness and toughness.
